No Hassle 28 day returns policy

Returns for internet orders
Cooling off period. 
If you are not 100% happy with your product then you can send it back to Whelan Cameras without a reason for the return within 7 days of receiving your item. Please note you must email our returns department whelancameras@eircom.net requesting a returns code. This returns code must be labelled on items being issued back to Whelan Cameras. When the item has been received by us we will inspect it thoroughly to ensure the product is fit for resale. Please note, if sending products back to Whelan Cameras the packaging and product must also be in the same condition as received. If the item is not fit for resale then the return application will be cancelled/revoked indefinitely. Collection of the item must then be arranged by the customer.
After inspection and the product is fit for resale we will issue a full refund. Shipping costs sending products back to Whelan Cameras must be borne by the customer.
We value your custom and we endeavour to resolve all queries as quickly as possible. Your statutory rights are not affected.

After the cooling off period.

Please note, if sending products back to Whelan Cameras the packaging and product must also be in the same condition as received. If the item is not fit for resale then the return application will be cancelled/revoked indefinitely. Collection of the item must then be arranged by the customer.
After inspection and the product is fit for resale we will issue a refund less a 10% restocking charge. Shipping costs sending products back to Whelan Cameras must be borne by the customer.

Faulty Items.
As a customer it is recommended that you fully inspect your product as soon as it has been received to ensure no parts are missing, damaged or faulty. Missing items must be reported to Whelan Cameras within 7 days of the item being received. Failure to outline missing items to Whelan Cameras will result in forfeiture in obligations to replace missing parts from Whelan Cameras. 

If you deem the item you received as being faulty and it is within the 6 months manufacturer's warranty then you can send the item back to Whelan Cameras for inspection by our returns department. Please note you must email our returns department at whelancameras@eircom.net requesting a returns code. This returns code must be labelled on items being issued back to Whelan Cameras. Warranty varies between manufacturers so it is advised to contact Whelan Cameras regarding warranty before returning any products. After a product is received to our returns department and it is deemed to be faulty we will do one of the following; issue a replacement piece for the part that is damaged, or replace the entire product, or offer a similar product, or if any of the above is not possible then we will issue a refund of the product. 
Faulty pieces or parts that make up the entirety of an item will be replaced once received back to Whelan Cameras. A faulty piece of a larger item shall not warrant return of the entire item and Whelan Cameras will replace or repair the part required once it has been returned to Whelan Cameras. Costs for sending items back to Whelan Cameras are borne by the customer.

If you receive a wrong item then Whelan Cameras must be notified within 7 days of receiving your order. We will then issue a pickup for your item. When the item is received back to our returns department and is proved to be a wrong item then Whelan Cameras will replace the item with the correct one. If it is not a wrong item then the customer must pay the collection charge which was arranged by Whelan Cameras and also arrange to collect the item as we will not re-ship an item if deemed to have been the correct item issued that was originally ordered. We value your custom and we endeavour to resolve all queries as quickly as possible. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Please note:
1. Under no circumstances should an item be returned to Whelan Cameras without a returns code issued to you by Whelan Cameras. 
2. All items purchased via the website must be returned through the appropriate channels as outlined above. Under no circumstances should customers bring goods to be returned to the store. Staff cannot accept goods to be returned in the store.
3. Any items to be returned to Whelan Cameras remain the property of the customer until a full returns inspection and verification has been carried out. After which Whelan Cameras reserves the right to refuse the returned item(s).

Where a refund has been authorised due to unavailability of goods or return of faulty goods, please allow up to 21 working days for funds to appear in your account. Whelan Cameras will issue refunds within 48 hours of authorisation for same and Whelan Cameras will not be held responsible for any delays with funds being credited to your account as this is the responsibility of your issuing Bank.
