Cat Gundry-Beck Bio

Cat Gundry-Beck is a music & commercial photographer, filmmaker and educator. After 14 years living abroad in Iceland, Norway and the UK, Cat has just moved home to Dublin where she grew up. Since graduating from a photography degree in Norwich in 2014, Cat’s been working with commercial brands like Jameson, Adobe and Dropbox.

Music is one of Cat’s greatest loves - she’s photographed festivals around the world (including covering Electric Picnic this year for Hot Press) and has been published in publications like NME, The Line of Best Fit, The New York Times and British Vogue. From intimate gigs to big concerts, she’s captured artists like Aurora, Bastille, Fat Boy Slim, Kneecap, Two Door Cinema Club and Dermot Kennedy. 

Passionate about education, Cat has given lectures and workshops for art centres and Universities around Iceland, Norway and the UK. She spent 3 months last year running photo courses on an expedition ship going from Greenland to Antarctica. Cat loves sharing the things she’s learned in her career so far and helping others to get creative and try new things behind the lens.
