• From extremely close to incredibly far—lock on. AF performance is fast, accurate, and exceptionally quiet. Birds to planes, tracking is rock-steady when used in conjunction with Nikon Z mirrorless cameras that incorporate Animal or Vehicle AF modes. The lens’ outstanding resolution is maintained even when using a teleconverter.
• Sharpness is superb throughout the frame. Nikon’s ED and Super ED glass control chromatic aberration from the centre to the edge of the image—even when shooting at the widest aperture or at close distances.
