PZ is the first full-frame L-series lens with an internal power zoom for smooth and stable
zooming for video. An Optical Image Stabilizer, constant f/4 maximum aperture and nonextending
barrel make it easy to achieve professional handheld results.
Like the Canon RF-S 14-30mm F4-6.3 IS STM PZ, the RF 20-50MM F4L IS USM PZ features an
internal power zoom but introduces a new zoom mechanism that allows users to switch
instantly between the smooth servo zoom for video and the manual zoom for video and
photo. The RF 20-50MM F4L IS USM PZ shares the same 67mm filter diameter as the hybrid
prime lenses, enabling users to share accessories across these video-centric lenses, and
